
Lydia Lavacek
Asistente de investigación de posgrado at Alce su Voz
Lydia Lavacek is a Wichita, Kansas native and a graduate student in the Spanish M.A. program at Wichita State University, where she previously earned B.A. degrees in Spanish and Geology in 2022.
Following her undergraduate studies, Lydia spent two years in Spain as a language and culture assistant through the NALCAP program, fostering a deep passion for bilingual education and language acquisition. Upon returning to Wichita, she served as a paraeducator at Horace Mann Dual Language Magnet, helping students achieve bilingual literacy. Lydia currently works as a graduate research assistant with Alce su Voz.
In her free time, she enjoys running, going to the gym, watching movies, and spending time with her three sisters.
